STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. The client waives any of its own terms and conditions. Any exception to our terms is only valid if agreed in advance, in writing.
2. Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days, unless a different deadline is stated on the invoice or order. For late payment, we may charge a fixed interest of 10% on the unpaid amount and suspend services or deliveries without prior notice.
3. If payment remains overdue for more than 60 days after the due date, we may involve a debt-collection company. Any resulting legal or recovery costs are the responsibility of the client.
4. For international orders, some countries may apply withholding tax at source. Highland House is not responsible for local legislative charges. The invoice amount remains fully payable to Highland House, excluding any deductions or local compliance costs.
5. We commit to delivering products and services on time, with reasonable effort, but without a guaranteed obligation of result. Highland House cannot be held liable for claims, damages, or legal disputes between the client and an end-consumer. Highland House will not act as a third party in client/end-consumer disputes.
6. Any claim concerning our sales must be sent by registered mail to our registered office within 8 days of receiving the goods or receipt. After this period, claims may not be accepted.
